Sharma Family Medicine is distinguished by the presence of one practitioner who has special training and extensive experience in several areas of family medicine. Dr. Sharma specializes and excels in women's health including gynecological examinations and a wide range of women's medical issues.
Skin care and treatments is another practice specialty including mole removal and treatment of other skin blemishes. For runners and others with sports related injuries, Dr. Sharma also specializes in sports medicine including sports physicals.

For patients in need of surgery, ECMC surgeons conduct consultations and pre-operative procedures twice each month at Sharma Family Medicine.
A urologist is also available for appointments and the practice intends to enlist the regular services of a rheumatologist and gastroenterologist for examinations and consultations. A full-time nurse practitioner assists Dr. Sharma in patient care at the family practice.
John Marshall is our interventional radiologist (chief of ECMC) who sees patients regularly in the comfort and convenience of our office. His services include varicose vein surgery, facet joint injections, thyroid and numerous other procedures. As a interventional radiologist, Dr Marshall practices on the cutting edge with a primary goal of offering minimally invasive procedures, allowing for less downtime while maximizing therapeutic options.
Vishal Sharma, M.D, FRCS(C). Dr Sharma is our inhouse ophthalmologist offering an array of services related to eye care. Cataract surgery, eyelid surgery, trauma services and routine eye care are readily available. For the convenience of patients a full service optical shop is available on site.

Fast, responsive urgent care.
Patients who call with an urgent care issue will be seen that day. Because patients have a direct line to the doctor, they can tell her exactly their symptoms and level of distress. Patients can also leave the doctor a voice mail or a text message if unable to reach her immediately. This level of accessibility and service is far more personal and convenient than a cold call to a clinic or hospital emergency room. |
